ERIK WOLLO - "Gateway" Brand new album of well known professional artist from Norway. His musical experience covers a wide range of styles from rock and jazz, to experimental electronic and classical music. But he is most known for his unique and personal electronic ambient music. He has been composing and performing music for films, theater, ballets and exhibitions. As well as composing for strings, woodwinds and larger orchestras. As a guitarist he has been leading his own groups, playing at clubs, concert halls and festivals in Europe, the USA and Canada. [www]

JON JENKINS & DAVID HELPLING - TBA. New exciting project of two great american New Age/electronic-ambient musicians which roams a musical landscape, exploring different textures and unearthing various moods, and it is that same curiosity that makes their music so stunning and unique. The two express their vision on an epic and expansive scale, rich in organic textures and moving passages. [www]

SAILLE - "Irreversible Decay". Saille was founded by belgian keyboardplayer Dries Gaerdelen in May 2008. Wanting to create symphonic black metal with a threatening feel. [www]

ATOMIC SKUNK - "Portal". San Francisco Bay Area based electronic musician, Rich Brodsky aka Atomic Skunk, weaves together ambient field recordings, lush pads, and organic acoustic instruments with high-tech arpeggiated synths, glitchy, chaotic rhythms, and haunting melodies to create a unique psychedelic ambient soundscape. Hello, Finally I have time to make some updates on my site. I haven’t added anything since the end of previous year but I had lot of work which results u are going to see now and in the near future. First of all I'm very proud and happy that I can show you my new cover artwork for STEVE ROACH – a musician, a legend whose music has been my great inspiration for many years. You can buy this new CD via his website [www] Now it has turned into a new, great and creative friendship and a realisation of my dream. Second important design which I’ve made last month is the cover artwork for FRANK VAN BOGAERT’s new album Air Machine. Another example of music that I love. Among the unfinished projects which I’m still working on, the most important one for now is the transformation of music of famous band VNV NATION into the pictures which will be placed on the cover artwork of new album entitled “Of Faith, Power and Glory”. The main cover’s picture is already made but I will show it to you soon, with the rest of graphics. In the next two or three weeks I will add another few artwork designs ( DAHLIA’S TEAR, ROOTWATER, SACRUM and ANALOG ANGEL ) and others which are a good and important impulse in my career. After long pause I’m back in the game with the movie poster design for THE ROAD with Viggo Mortensen. It seems that the work hasn't been finished yet and it’s still a chance that the producers will pick up my designs. When everything is done you will find it here too, in full splendor. Today I have also completed gallery INSPIRATIONS which I have seriously neglected. I have uploaded several new pictures including those made in the newest shot location and one of my favourites – this beautiful and peaceful place are Bieszczady Moountains - Polish Part of East Carpathians… More news still to come.

Perhaps some of you have heard about the Pulitzer Prize winning novel THE ROAD by Cormac McCarthy. We need to go back in time to explain my connection with this novel. About a year ago I’ve made some artworks inspired by this gloomy, post apocalyptic story. I found somewhere information that this book will be released in Poland too so I decided to propose my artwork as the cover. I send it to one of the biggest polish publishers to put my picture on the book cover and it was surprising event for me when they agreed. Unfortunately in the last moment they resign cause they found a note in agreement that in this release need to be the same cover as in other European edition countries. So I lost the chance to be involved on the prestigious release, but…whole history have turn back to me in November 2008. Some guys from Hollywood saw in the web my artwork inspired by THE ROAD. It was a beginning of my collaboration with entertainment advertising agency – INDIKA ( campaign for PULP FICTION, THE PIANO, TRAINING DAY, OCEAN’S 13 and many more ). We’ve been talking about possibility of using this artwork on official, international poster. After few conversations I was committed and start hard design on new versions of the poster which was based on my elements and those delivered me by agency ( original shots from the stage, some frames from existing movie and CGI shots ). I worked very hard few days and few nice designs have been made. Now I’m waiting for final decision. Even if my artworks hasn’t be chosen that will be a great fun and honor work on the poster for one of the most awaited premieres of the year with great guys from the such acclaimed company. They like my work and it’s very possible to work with them on another interesting Hollywood movie. Stay tuned I will inform you. So…another dream come true.

I've updated my INSPIRATIONS gallery with almost thirty new pictures made during the last two months. So it's a last update in this year which was very creative, fruitful and full of work. I hope that upcoming 2009 will be even more exciting and better. I wish you all the best and a Happy New Year.

Hello there! I just came back from two months of holidays. While I was out, my website had problems and it was offline for about a month. I hadn’t had access to the web during my voyages, and I only found out about this problem later. I figured out that I needed to move my website to another server, so I did that a few days ago and now everything is going perfectly again. It gives me the possibility to upload a huge pack of new artworks to my gallery that were made in the last two months. I’m also thinking about a new website design to make it more interactive. Those plans are rather distant right now, but they will happen. So I’m here and back to work, and it’s quite a lot to do. Besides ordinary works which you can usually find in the category INSPIRATIONS, there are a few really interesting and important projects in the queue that could become very important in my future career, with regard to the names of the artists who entrusted me with being graphic designer for their new musical projects. The most important of these collaborations is the work with STEVE ROACH [www] who is one of the most pioneering and internationally renowned artists of his genre (electronic/ambient music). Roach has earned his position among the international pantheon of major new music artists through a long list of groundbreaking recordings, fuelled by his prolific nature and uncompromising approach. I really, sincerely recommend his music for those who want to rediscover the world from the beginning with the help of another sense – hearing. His music has been with me for many years, during bad and good times, and it has given me many moments of inspiration in my creative activity. Working with him was one of my biggest dreams, and now it’s happening. The final effect of this collaboration should see daylight in the beginning of 2009. The next big moment of the summer was personally meeting another great artist, this time from Poland. WOJCIECH KONIKEIWICZ [www] is a musician and a great mind who was found as one of the most interesting, original and creative musicians of the Polish jazz scene. Many years ago, I came across a composition of his entitled “Muzyka Nowej Przestrzeni”, (Music of New Space), which was something absolutely new in the polish music market and it was my first encounter with ambient, new-age music. This was something extraordinary for listeners to hear at the time, and it wasn’t easy for most to understand. It moved you to different places, out into space and the distant reaches of your own mind and consciousness. Now it will be re-issued on CD, and I get the honor of creating the visual side of this project. This music came out almost twenty years ago, and I had no idea that this moment would come in the future. Life is surprising. A few days ago I received an e-mail from Ronan Harris – front man of the band VNV NATION [www] . I’ve been working with him with successfully on VNV NATION’s latest album, entitled “Judgement”. The cover I made was highly praised by numerous fans around the world, which is a great honour for me. This collaboration was so fruitful that Ronan asked me to create artworks for a few other realizations, and these could be released in early 2009. In other news, the following are being designed or will be started soon. There is a new live DVD by well-known progressive rock band GLASS HAMMER [www] entitled “Live At The Tivoli”, new cover artwork for a well known Polish pop/rock band SUMPTUASTIC [www] entitled “Iluzjoniści” (Illusionists), a new interesting album cover of great electronic music artist FRANK VAN BOGAERT [www] - “Air Machine”, a project for US industrial band GRAVEMACHINE [www] – "Mechanical Angels”, a new realization of Portugal progressive metal band FACTORY OF DREAMS [www] , and a few new cover artworks for the labels GENERATOR.PL [www] and RAGE IN EDEN [www] . Hello. After a small break I added few absolutely fresh cover artworks in the section ARTWORKS. New realisation for my friendly label RAGE IN EDEN. DESPARTICA FACE TWO is a second part of acclaimed series by the band RUKKANOR [www] . I've made three new covers for label GENERATOR.PL [www] which provides to listeners interesting, electronic music of any kind. This time it's new position in a long list of KONRAD KUCZ's experiments with anologue synthesizers entitled "Railroad Paths". New, exciting music in "berlin school" mood [www] . Another cover was made for TOMASZ ZAWADZIŃSKI and his beautiful electronic project "Sounds Like Pictures" [www] . Last new position in GENERATOR's offer is YAREK's ( Jarosław Degórski ) "Noc Na Zamku". Fantastic live music performance recorded at night under the baileys of old castle [www] . Next project is a cover artwork for spain new age musician ROGER SUBIRANA and it's based on one of my most characteristic work "Ultima Thule". Realisation is entitled "Point of No Return". It's a combination of powerful, dramatic, mystical and emotional new age music. Infos here: [www] . The result of new frendship is an artwork created for ambient music project DISTURBED EARTH which was launched in 2006 by Dean Richards. The sounds produced are played and performed on prepared instruments live in one take, and then edited for the right performance. The prepared instrumentation are guitar, binaural and monaural field recordings/Foley techniques, percussion, piano and pedal harmonium. This is the first part of our collaboration and will bring more in the near future. More about the artist: [www] . I want to announce and invite you to exhibition entitled "Jarosław - miasto którego nie ma" ( Jaroslaw - city which don't exist ), which will be opened at 10th May in Żywiec, Poland and it starts 4pm (16:00). This photo voyage tells about history of the city in very original and beautiful form. Haunting places, old streets and buildings which could speaks without a words about history through the pictures of two photographers Ola Jachimska and Irek Kowal. This downloadable presentation will contain my best works with the sound background from STEVE ROACH - my musical guru and creator of many inspiring moments in my life. It's probably a beginning of our cooperation which will give us some interesting effects in the future. I'm very proud of it and happy. Sometimes dreams comes true.
